Red Bellied Woodpecker

The same day I was taking images of our two good friends a
Red Bellied Woodpecker showed up. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera
mounted to a tripod and holding a 300 mm lens stable is not easy. :)
I set the shutter speed to 1/1000 sec, F:5,6 and ISO 400.
The beauty of a digital camera is you can shoot as many images you want and
and hope for the best that one or more of them will be what you want. :)

Hi Kjell, the last two photos turned out well - handholding any longer telephoto and trying to catch wildlife which doesn't remain still can be a problem, even with longer zoom point & shoot type digitals.
