These are great animals to photograph but be wary getting too close...they can be quite mean.

Funny to see the smaller bird sitting on the Emu's back. As the photos were loading it looked like he was sitting on top of a grass hut. I'd imagine that when the Emu lays down and tucks his head in he blends right in with the ground.
