Yes, I did lie on my back to take that picture. The tree is across the street from our home on the property of Xavier University. Wifey watched out the window at home as I took to the picture to be sure I could get up. If I hadn't gotten up, she would have come across the street to help me. It was cold out there, too.
I'm sorry I can't stop in and see your blogs right now because we are at sea. I'll be there when I can, though!
Thank you, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind comments.
Fantastic shots and great perspective! I commend your bravery for lying on your back for the shot. I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to get up if I did that. At the very lest it would not be a pretty sight.

Did you lay on your back to get those shots? They're terrific! If I look straight up I tend to lose my balance. I think I have "vertigo".
absolutely love this view...
The second photo looks like a Squirrel Road... :)
Another one to send to my husband.
Gorgeous shots, love them!
Have a great day :O)
These photos really show the HIGH-archy and majesty of the elders. Nice shots Kjell.
