Wind Power In Indiana

My wife and I were driving in Northern Indiana when we saw hundreds of these windmills.  The farmer is harvesting both wheat and wind power.

I captured the image with a Canon 7D taken with a -2 stop and +2 stop and a Canon 28-135 mm lens.  The image processing is HDR (High Dynamic Range) Imaging.

Enjoy!

Very nice photo. I wish we had one in our backyard – smaller of course.

Welcome, Abraham, and hi Lois.

Yes, it would be fun to have one of these in our yard, especially for those of us so concerned about energy efficiency.

Thanks for stopping by.

I've taken a lot of windmill shots, but this one is very special.

Hi Elaine,

Yes, these windmills were a challenge against an overcast sky. This image was made by overlaying three images.

Thanks for stopping by and it's nice to see you are following.
