Saddle Mountain, West Virginia

This is Saddle Mountain, 2,840 ft. above sea level.  It is Nancy Hanks' birthplace (1782-1818), birth-mother of Abraham Lincoln.

We have stopped here several times at different times of the year to capture images.  This is an exceptionally beautiful day.

Lake in West Virginia

 

My wife and I love road trips and we love digital imaging.  This lake was one we couldn't pass without capturing with our cameras to bring home and enjoy.  It's picture post card gorgeous!

Trio Of Cabins

These three fishing cabins are in Flaam, Norway, at the end of Sognefjord.  We visited on board Splendour of the Seas on a Norwegian Fjords cruise, one of our favorite cruise destinations.

Wind Power In Indiana

My wife and I were driving in Northern Indiana when we saw hundreds of these windmills.  The farmer is harvesting both wheat and wind power.

I captured the image with a Canon 7D taken with a -2 stop and +2 stop and a Canon 28-135 mm lens.  The image processing is HDR (High Dynamic Range) Imaging.
