Just beyond is the National Park Pioneer Farm just before Mingus Mill. There is another grist mill in the area that is painted bright red (looks like a tourist trap) toward the Bryson City side of Cherokee. We tried to turn around the the parking lot, but it was chained closed. We were there in the off season. ;)Kjell T.
